The PI Consultation Guide is operated by PI-Thenics. We are an information and referral service — not a detective agency. We do not conduct investigations and we do not provide legal advice.
What we do not guarantee
Using this site does not guarantee:
- A referral to any detective agency
- Any investigation result or evidence
- The accuracy or completeness of information on this site
Contracts and responsibility
Any contract for investigation services is between you and the detective agency directly. PI-Thenics is not a party to that contract and accepts no liability for the agency's conduct, the investigation result, or any consequences arising from it.
After PI-Thenics successfully delivers a valid referral with the consumer’s consent, the introduced agency may pay PI-Thenics a uniform fixed referral fee. The fee does not depend on whether the consumer later signs a contract and does not affect matching or display order.
Emergencies
If you are in immediate danger, contact the police (110) or local emergency services. This site is not a crisis service.
Consultations we decline
We will not accept consultations that involve or intend:
- Illegal surveillance or tracking
- Harassment, stalking, or intimidation of any person
- Discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
- Unauthorized access to devices, accounts, or communications
- Obtaining information for blackmail or coercion
- Any purpose that violates Japanese law
