What changed
From April 1, 2024, the prefectural commission’s detective-business notification certificate was abolished. Operators now prepare a marker and display it prominently at the office; subject to stated exceptions, it must also appear on the agency website.
What to look for online
- Office name
- Office address
- Public Safety Commission
- Notification filing date
- Notification number
- Individual or corporate operator name
