A Diary does not establish facts by itself
It is created by the writer and may contain subjectivity or memory errors. An entry alone does not establish another person’s conduct, unlawfulness, damage, or causation.
More reliable record-keeping habits
- Write near the time of the event
- Separate facts from feelings and assumptions
- Identify later edits and why they were made
- Note original materials you lawfully possess
- Do not convert unknowns into conclusions
When to ask a professional
For divorce, damages, custody, protective orders, or another concrete legal decision, consult a lawyer. PI-Thenics and Diary AI features do not determine evidentiary value or legal conclusions.
